HARRISBURG, Pa. – Pennsylvania’s Governor is opening up about his role in Kamala Harris’s White House run ahead of his memoir’s release.
Josh Shapiro says he was questioned by Harris and her vetting team about his links to Israel.
According to his upcoming memoir, Shapiro says he was directly asked “Have you ever been an agent of the Israeli government?”
He says he was surprised by the question, and added he found it offensive.
Shapiro does identify as a Zionist and was critical of pro-Palestinian college protests.
His memoir will be released on Jan. 27.
