A tanker truck just exiting the I-276 branch of the Pa. Turnpike early Monday rolled off the exit and onto its roof, killing one person.

NBC10 in Philadelphia reports the rollover crash happened around 1 a.m. Monday while the truck was navigating the ramp from eastbound I-276 to US 1 in Bensalem, Bucks County.

One death was reported at the scene. There was no further information about the victim in the initial reports.

As of 6:30 a.m., crews were still attempting to clear the scene, snarling traffic in the area. The NBC10 chopper shot video of the tanker flipped onto its roof after tumbling from the exit ramp.

There was no immediate word on what caused the deadly crash.
