It’s been six days since Mike Tomlin stepped down as the Pittsburgh Steelers head coach.
Since then, the Steelers have been linked to numerous big names for the vacancy, including Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero and former Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy.
Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores has also been a popular name and it was reported on Monday that Pittsburgh would be meeting with the 44-year-old on Tuesday to discuss the gig.
“Steelers are scheduled to meet Tuesday with Vikings DC Brian Flores about their head coaching vacancy,” ESPN senior NFL insider Adam Schefter posted on X.
