Part of Interstate 90 in Erie County has reopened following a crash on Monday.
The eastbound lanes between Exit 9 (Route 18, Girard/Platea) and Exit 16 (Route 98, Fairview/Franklin Center) were closed for a couple hours due to multi-vehicle crashes.
Interstate 80 eastbound, which was shutdown between Exit 35 (Route 308, Clintonville) and Exit 42 (Route 38, Emlenton), has reopened.
PennDOT has also restored the speed limits on Interstates 79, 86 and 90 in Erie County. They were previously reduced to 45 mph due to the conditions.
PennDOT is also reminding motorists to pack an emergency kit with basics like food, water, blankets, and medications.
