OBITUARY

Barbara Jane Lorah, 95, of Shillington, formerly of Mohnton, passed away Thursday, August 14th, at Reading Hospital-Tower Health, West Reading.

Barbara was born in Reading on February 12, 1930, a daughter of the late Mary Jane (Noll) and William Young and was the widow of Howard Lorah who passed away in 2012.

She was employed as a retail sales clerk at Two Guys then worked on the Specialty Line at Alcon for over 15 years. She was a member of several senior citizen groups around the county where she had numerous friends.

Barbara is survived by her three sons, David Lorah, husband of Kathleen (Kurtz), of Wernersville; Denny Lorah, husband of Deborah (Motika), of Summerland Key, FL; Donald Lorah, of Spring Township; half-brother, Danny Perotto, husband of Fay, of Reading. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Jessica wife of Patrick, Stacey wife of Brad, Dustin, Monika wife of Josh, Trevor husband of Amanda, Tanya wife of Brad and four great grandchildren, Avery, Christian, Courtney, Marissa, Claire, and Adler. She is also survived by two step grandchildren Karyn wife of Kevin, Stephen husband of Erica and two step great grandchildren, Cecelia and Elysia. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Brandy Rae in 2016.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. Interment at Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading.
