AND IT IS COLD FOR US TODAY. WE’LL SEE ANOTHER COLD START TOMORROW MORNING, BUT NOT AS COLD AS THIS MORNING. WIND CHILLS WILL LIKELY STAY IN THE SINGLE DIGITS. SNOW SHOWERS ARRIVE LATE MORNING INTO THE AFTERNOON, AND THE BETTER CHANCE OF SNOW SQUALLS IN THE EVENING PROMPTS OUR IMPACT DAY ON WEDNESDAY. THURSDAY WILL SEE SOME SNOW POSSIBLE IN THE MORNING. THEN WE ACTUALLY SEE A SLIGHT THAW AS TEMPERATURES TOMORROW AND THURSDAY SHOULD BREAK FOR FREEZING. AND THEN WE GO BACK INTO THE FREEZER AS OUR NEXT ARCTIC BLAST GETS HERE ON FRIDAY, AND THAT WILL TAKE US WELL INTO NEXT WEEK. TEMPERATURES. STILL TEENS AND SINGLE DIGITS ACROSS WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA. NORTH OF I-80, EVERYBODY IS IN THE SINGLE DIGITS RIGHT NOW. 16 IN BUTLER, 17 IN UNIONTOWN, 11 IN THE CITY, MONROEVILLE AND CRANBERRY. BUT YOU FACTOR IN THE WIND. IT FEELS LIKE IT’S FIVE BELOW IN THE CITY, FIVE BELOW MONROEVILLE AS WELL AS IN INDIANA. AND IT STILL FEELS LIKE IT’S THREE BELOW ZERO IN GREENSBURG. THESE WIND CHILLS WON’T GET MUCH BETTER THROUGH THE DAY. WE’LL GET CLOSE TO ZERO, AND SOME OF US WILL SEE SINGLE DIGIT WIND CHILLS LATER ON TODAY. AND THE WIND CHILLS WILL STAY SINGLE DIGITS AS WE HEAD INTO TOMORROW MORNING, SO IT IS STILL A COLD START, BUT NOT AS COLD AS WHAT WE SAW THIS MORNING. 16 WHERE WE’LL FINISH TODAY AGAIN. IT WILL FEEL LIKE THAT AT NO POINT ON YOUR TUESDAY 35 ON WEDNESDAY, AN IMPACT DAY FOR SNOW LATE WILL START AT 833 ON THURSDAY, AND THEN WE BEGIN DROPPING. IT’S 19 FOR A HIGH ON FRIDAY, 12 ON SATURDAY, AND WE COULD START AT ZERO 19 ON SUNDAY. WE’RE WATCHING A SNOW CHANCE AND WE’LL STAY IN THE 20S WITH LOWS IN THE SINGLE DIGITS AS WE HEAD INTO THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK. SO THOSE SNOW SHOWERS TOMORROW GET HERE AFTER THE MORNING COMMUTE AROUND LUNCHTIME, WE’LL SEE SOME FLAKES FLYING ACROSS WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA, AND THEN IN THE EVENING, THE POTENTIAL FOR SOME LAKE ENHANCED SNOWFALL. THIS COULD PRODUCE SOME SNOW SQUALLS ACROSS WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA. AND THE REASON FOR OUR IMPACT DAY. THOSE FLAKES COULD LINGER INTO THURSDAY MORNING AND THEN THEY WILL TAPER OFF. BY THE TIME WE GET TO AND PAST LUNCHTIME. SO THE SUN IS NICE. IT’S JUST NOT DOING ANYTHING ON ACTION CAM AGAIN. IT’S CURRENTLY 11 OUTSIDE WINDSOR WEST SOUTHWEST AT 15. SO AGAIN WE STILL FEEL LIKE WE ARE WELL BELOW ZERO. AND THAT’S THE CASE AS WE CONTINUE THROUGH MOST OF THE REST OF THE AFTERNOON. NEEDLESS TO SAY, IF YOU ARE HEADING OUTSIDE, MAKE SURE YOU’RE BUNDLING UP WEARING ALL THE WINTER GEAR. IF YOU DON’T HAVE TO GO OUTSIDE TODAY, TODAY IS
