Tim Naughton posted a 2.73 ERA for the Seawolves in 2025.
DETROIT — The Detroit Tigers are re-upping Double-A Erie mainstay Tim Naughton for another season.
Naughton, 30, has agreed to a minor-league contract to return to the Tigers for a fourth season.
Originally drafted by the Baltimore Orioles out of N.C. State University in 2017, Naughton signed with the Tigers before the 2023 season after a brief stint in independent baseball.
He’s been a bullpen mainstay for the Seawolves for each of the last three seasons. In 2025, he posted a 2.73 ERA in 33 innings, striking out 42 and walking 10.
