Cash Roe was money Tuesday night for the Valley View boys basketball team.

Roe hit 13 field goals, scored 28 points and added five assists to help lead the fifth-ranked Cougars to a 67-52 win over visiting Scranton in a Lackawanna League Division I contest.

Roe had 16 of his points in the first half as Valley View built a seven-point halftime lead.

Noah Symuleski contributed 14 points for the Cougars (5-2 league, 13-2 overall). Michael Muto followed with 11 points and Jagger Roe dished out seven assists.

Jayden Mayers hit six 3-pointers and scored 25 points for Scranton (2-5, 5-9). Justin Mayers had 14 points for the Knights.

Abington Heights 73, West Scranton 38: At Scranton, Jordan Shaffer had 16 points, including the 1,000th of his career, in the No. 3 Comets’ Division I win.

Shaffer entered the game needing 11 points to reach the milestone.

Andrew Kettel scored a team-high 18 points, Cooper Manning added 11 points and Ben Reese chipped in 10 for Abington Heights (7-0, 10-5).

Nate Schimelfenig scored a game-high 20 points for the Invaders (2-5, 5-10).

Scranton Prep 73, Wallenpaupack 18: At Wallenpaupack, Packy Doherty scored 25 points as No. 4 Scranton Prep romped to a Lackawanna Division I road win.

Chicky Skoff added 12 points for the Cavaliers (6-1, 10-3), who stormed to a 29-2 lead after one quarter. Doherty had 11 points and Skoff 10 in the first.

Diego Adames led the Buckhorns (2-5, 5-8) with eight points.

Delaware Valley 70, North Pocono 57: At Delaware Valley, the Warriors trailed North Pocono by six points at halftime, but used a second-half surge to rally for a win in Lackawanna Division I.

Trey Newton led the way for No. 8 Delaware Valley with 28 points, 17 of which came in the second half. Tyler Lombardo added 18 points, 14 of which came after halftime.

The Warriors (3-4, 10-5) took a 44-43 lead after three quarters, then sealed the victory by scoring 26 points in the fourth, including 16 for 20 from the foul line.

Cole West topped North Pocono (1-6, 4-11) with 21 points. Dylan O’Neill followed with 12 points for the Trojans.

Riverside 82, Western Wayne 44: At Riverside, Nico Antoniacci scored 35 points and Brayden Rose followed with 27 as the No. 2 Vikings rolled to a Lackawanna Division II win.

Rose had 23 of his points and Antoniacci 19 of his in the first half as Riverside (6-1, 13-1) grabbed a 29-point halftime lead.

Jacob Lawler led the Wildcats (0-7, 2-12) with 14 points and Ashan Stookey added 10.

Holy Cross 82, Honesdale 45: At Holy Cross, Colin Farrell had 28 points, including six 3-pointers, to lead the No. 9 Crusaders to a Division II win.

Adam Badyrka added 15 points, CJ Thompson chipped in 10 and Jack Alpert had nine for Holy Cross (4-3, 8-7).

Gavin Briggs led the Hornets (2-5, 6-9) with 11 points.

Lakeland 49, Mid Valley 48: At Mid Valley, Jake McHale had nine points and Chase Rosenkrans seven in the fourth quarter to help Lakeland hold off the Spartans for a Lackawanna Division II win.

McHale finished with 20 points for the Chiefs (2-5, 7-8) and Rosenkrans had 12 points.

Landon Pratt had a game-high 24 points for Mid Valley (2-5, 6-9), 20 of which came in the second half.

Elk Lake 54, Montrose 38: At Montrose, Chase Pond poured in 31 points as No. 7 Elk Lake earned a Lackawanna Division III victory.

Pond hit eight field goals, including four 3-pointers, and was 11 for 12 from the foul line. He had three 3s and 15 points in the first quarter to help stake the Warriors (7-0, 14-1) to a 17-7 lead. He had 21 points at halftime, then scored five points in both the third and fourth quarters.

Jai Herman led the Meteors (3-4, 5-10) with 16 points.

Susquehanna 71, Blue Ridge 60: At Susquehanna, Griffin Fisk scored 13 of his game-high 22 points in the second half when the No. 10 Sabers outscored Blue Ridge, 37-25, to erase a one-point halftime deficit and pull away to a Lackawanna Division III win.

Mason Keyes added 17 points for Susquehanna (6-1, 11-3).

Paxton Pingarelli had 17 points and Brendan Marvin chipped in 11 for the Raiders (4-3, 6-7).

Lackawanna Trail 68, Forest City 28: At Forest City, Lucas Filipek had 22 points to lead the Lions to a Division III win.

Logan Seigle added 14 points, and Jimmy Phillips chipped in nine for Lackawanna Trail (5-2, 10-4).

Jacob Woodbridge and Jaxon Owens each had eight points for the Foresters (0-7, 0-15).
