The 2025-26 high school boys basketball regular season is headed for the finish line.
The league tournaments will begin on Feb. 6, the District 11 tournament starts on Feb. 17, and the state tournament tips off on March 6, with everything wrapping up on March 21 at Hershey’s Giant Center.
Who will our teams have to contend with once we get to scholastic basketball’s version of March Madness?
Remember, last year, the East had five of the six state champions, and four were from District 12 – Father Judge (6A), Neumann-Goretti (5A), Devon Prep (4A), and West Catholic (3A). Class 2A was won by Linville Hill from District 3 and the West got a state gold at 1A with Neighborhood Academy from District 7.
Here’s a look at the top teams in the eastern half of the state, including the best from Districts 1, 2, 3, 4, 11, and 12.
The rankings are compiled by basketball guru Toomey Anderson, who has connections all over the East and closely monitors who’s doing well.
