A fire in Corry, at Hensa Stamping on Pennsylvania Avenue was called just after 4 p.m. on Wednesday Jan. 21.
The fire started late this afternoon, with reports that it is extending across the building.
Hensa Stamping is a full‑service stamper, fabricator, and finisher of metal products with a 40‑year history.
The company serves customers in the plumbing, medical, furniture, and automotive industries.
Crews from multiple different stations have been on scene tending to the fire. Right now, firefighters from Erie, Crawford, and Warren counties are on scene, fighting the massive fire. The Erie County 911 Center also says crews from New York State are at the scene, too.
According to reports, the fire has spread the full length of the building. Crews were first called to the fire just before 4:30 this afternoon.
The fire has yet to be contained as of 6:40 p.m. As of 6:45 p.m. the 9‑1‑1 Center also tells us that, at this time, no one has been transported from the scene.
