PALMER TWP., Pa. – A crash near the Route 33 overpass in Palmer Township, Northampton County led to a large emergency response early Thursday morning.
It happened on Main St. near the Route 33 overpass around 4:43 a.m., county dispatchers said.
Dispatchers could not confirm how many vehicles were involved, or if anyone was injured.

Photos from the scene show a tractor-trailer was involved, and that the top of a car had to be removed.
They said the crash led to a large emergency response that includes police, fire, and EMS crews.
People are being asked to avoid the area.
