A new Local Creator Program has been launched by VisitErie. The initiative will showcase Erie County through the eyes of residents.
Erie-based creators can apply to potentially partner with VisitErie to produce videos or written stories that highlight local attractions, culture, and experiences.
Visitors will receive a more authentic look into the pieces that come together to make Erie great as a vibrant and welcoming travel destination.
Up to four creators will be selected to participate in the 2026 program.
“Our goal is to inspire travel to Erie, and this is just one more way we can do that,” said Emily Biddle, director of marketing and research at VisitErie. “When visitors travel to a new destination, they often want to discover the places that locals favor. Through this program, we have the opportunity to showcase Erie from a new perspective, and help visitors discover new experiences, all while amplifying the voices of local creators.”
Those participating can spotlight various Erie County experiences including seasonal events and festivals, outdoor recreation and waterfront activities, local dining and craft beverage spots, arts culture, and history, and family-friendly attractions.
Thos interested in this opportunity must be local Erie County PA residents, have experience creating quality content, and show a certain enthusiasm and love for Erie.
The deadline for the application is Jan. 30, and the full details of the program can be found at Local Creator Program – VisitErie
