YEAH, WELL, MULTIPLE CREWS FROM THE BELMONT POLICE DEPARTMENT AND FIRE CREWS ARE RESPONDING TO THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX RIGHT BEHIND ME HERE ON SPRING LANE. IN THE LATEST UPDATE FROM THE BELMONT POLICE CHIEF, HE TELLS ME THIS WAS AN APARTMENT EXPLOSION. AND ONE PERSON WAS LIFEFLIGHTED. SO I’M GOING TO STEP TO THE SIDE AND SHOW YOU THE SCENE. CURRENTLY, YOU CAN SEE THERE ARE ITEMS FALLING OUT OF THE WINDOW OF ONE OF THE UNITS. IT APPEARS TO BE BLANKETS. THERE ARE. THERE’S ALSO DEBRIS SCATTERED ON A PARKED TRUCK IN THE DRIVEWAY. AS YOU CAN SEE, THERE’S STILL A FIRE AND POLICE CREWS HERE. NOW TAKE A LOOK AT THIS VIDEO FROM SKY FOUR. OUR CREW IN THE AIR SAW ONE PERSON TAKEN BY THE LIFE FLIGHT FROM THE SCENE. FROM THAT VIEWPOINT, THEY WERE ALSO ABLE TO SEE THE GARAGE DOOR AND BAY WINDOW WERE BOTH BLOWN OUT, AND A REAR SLIDING GLASS DOOR ALSO IS BLOWN OUT. One person was flown to the hospital after an explosion at an apartment building in Delmont, Westmoreland County, on Thursday, the police chief said.

Sky 4 video showed that a garage door and bay window were blown out, and sliding glass doors were blown off the building on Spring Lane.
The cause of the blast is not yet known. The fire marshal has been called to the scene.
