All the apartments range from one to three bedrooms and are affordable for households earning up to 60% of the area’s median income.

The project was also all-electric, integrating green design and building practices, including all-electric kitchen appliances and light fixtures, high-efficiency water heaters, and central air conditioning.

It also includes units that are accessible and equipped for people with mobility, hearing, and visual impairments.

“Hudson on Nine is a prime example of what my administration is prioritizing — providing safe, stable affordable housing options for all New Yorkers,” Governor Hochul said. “In communities across the state, we continue to focus on increasing the affordable housing supply so that communities can thrive and our veterans and those at risk for homelessness have the support they need to live independently.”

Hudson on Nine includes 12 supportive units, which are reserved for disabled veterans at risk of homelessness. It also includes an outdoor playground, a clubhouse with community space, a computer room, and kitchen.
