An out-of-county resident died in an early Monday morning crash on the ramp from the Pennsylvania Turnpike to Route 1 in Bensalem Township.
Matthew Ronca, 34, of Lancaster County, was the tanker driver who died in the crash, according to a report from Patch.com.
The crash happened around 1 a.m. on the ramp leading to Route 1, according to PennDOT information.

NBC 10 reported the driver was attempting to slow the vehicle when the tanker truck overturned and went down an embankment into a water retention pond.
The ramp was closed for several hours as crews cleaned up and investigated.

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the crash.
