James Walsh was sentenced for shooting his wife at their home in Spring Brook Township in February last year.

LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. — A man could spend up to two decades behind bars after shooting his wife last year in Lackawanna County.

James Walsh shot his wife in the face in their Spring Brook Township home in February last year during a domestic dispute. 

When officers arrived at their home, Walsh was seen on a couch with a self-inflicted gunshot wound and was eventually taken into custody after being taken to the hospital.

Walsh was sentenced to 13.5 to 27 years in state prison for attempted homicide charges.Â
