The newest Goodwill location is days away from opening.

A ribbon-cutting and open house will be held Tuesday for the new Harborcreek store.

People will be able to meet store leadership and staff, tour the new space and learn how their donations benefit local programs.

“This open house is our opportunity to thank the community for its continued support and to showcase the hard work that went into bringing this new location to life,” Phillip Johnston, President and CEO of Goodwill Industries of Northeast Ohio and Northwest Pennsylvania, said .  “We’re excited to expand our presence in Harborcreek and continue to serve our community by changing lives through the power of work. Many folks may not realize that 87% of our revenue stays local and funds programming and employment services right here in Erie.”

The ribbon cutting and open house is scheduled from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The store will open to the public Friday at 9 a.m.

It is at 4309 Buffalo Road in Harborcreek.
