CUMRU TWP., Pa. – Police in Cumru Township say a man was stabbed multiple times today by his adult nephew, who is still on the loose.
It happened late this afternoon at a home in the 1700 block of Acorn Drive.
Police say the victim, a 61-year-old man, was working outside when he was approached by his 40-year-old nephew who allegedly stabbed him several times.
The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment. The severity of his injuries is unknown at this time.
There’s no word on what led to the stabbing.
Police are still searching for the nephew, whose identity had not yet been released. Investigators describe the altercation as a “domestic incident.”
The investigation is ongoing.
