Uncle Raf, a family- and kids-friendly character created in Reading, PA, is inviting local children to take part in a Kids Casting Call for an exciting new project: Uncle Raf’s Kids Talk Podcast. Auditions will take place on Sunday, Feb. 15, from 9-11 a.m.

The casting call is open to children ages 6 to 12 who speak English and are positive, confident, and social. Kids who love to talk, share ideas, and express themselves are encouraged to participate.

This podcast is a first-of-its-kind project in Pennsylvania, designed to give children a genuine voice. Unlike traditional kids’ programming, Uncle Raf’s Kids Talk Podcast will feature kids talking to other kids and their families about everyday topics, such as school, sports, friendships, holidays, food, hobbies, and emotions — all in a safe, friendly, and guided environment.

Uncle Raf was created with one clear mission: to extend the joy of being alive to everyone. Through music, dancing, games, conversations, and interactive experiences, Uncle Raf promotes positivity, emotional expression, confidence, and connection among children and families.

“This podcast is about listening to kids — what they think, how they feel, and how they see the world,” said Rafael Moya, creator of Uncle Raf. “We want to create a space where children feel seen, heard, and valued while having fun and building confidence.”

Families interested in learning more or signing up for the audition are encouraged to call or text 484-721-8491.

This casting call follows the successful filming of Uncle Raf’s music video Keep Jumping, which brought together more than 300 community members in November, highlighting the growing local support for family-centered creative projects in Reading and Berks County.
