WHEELING, WV. – The Reading Royals began a weekend series with the Wheeling Nailers Saturday night.
The Royals opened the scoring early in the first as Jacob Frasca finds the back off the net off the assists by Nolan Burke and Ben Meehan.
The Nailers answer back in the closing seconds of the first. Connor Lockhart lights the lamp with the equalizer, 1-1.
Early in the third Wheeling would break the tie. Matty De St. Phalle scores off the assist by Connor Lockhart, 2-1.
The Nailers would score three unanswered as they defeat the Royals, 3-1
