Though we hosted a pitch event recently (and we’re busy working on some great stories based on the pitches we heard at that September gathering), we’re inviting folks from Pittsburgh-region nonprofits, schools and other family-serving organizations to tell us what you’ve got planned for the holiday season.

If you have holiday events, programming for kids happening over the holiday break or any other holiday-related news to share, join us via Zoom on Monday, Oct. 27, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

This is an opportunity to spotlight the meaningful work your organization or school is doing to support kids, families, and communities. We’re looking for story ideas for throughout the holiday season, from November 2025 through January 2026.

You can register right here and a Zoom link will be sent after you register. Each organization pitching will have approximately three minutes (about two minutes to share your story and 1 minute for questions from our team).

We’re looking forward to seeing as many people as possible. Given time constraints, space is limited to 25 pitches (one per organization). So we encourage you to register today

You’re welcome to join us just for your pitch, though if you have more time we encourage you to stay and hear others’ ideas and stories. If you need a specific pitch time, please share that in the comments section when registering. Otherwise, the pitch order is in order of registration.

Anyone from your organization is welcome to do the pitch — it doesn’t have to be you! We recommend having the person most passionate or most knowledgeable about the story idea share it.

We can’t wait to hear about the great work you’re doing!
