The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance (GRCA) has announced the appointment of seven members to the Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce & Industry board of directors (GRCCI).

Appointed to the board are: David Farrar, general manager – Santander Arena & Santander Performing Arts Center, president – Reading Royals; Shaun Hart, vice president – sales & marketing, AmeriGas Propane LP; Craig Hirneisen, senior counsel, Litigation & HR, EnerSys; Danielle Knudsen, vice president, Griffin Financial Group; Rebecca Shugar, vice president & senior relationship manager, M&T Bank; Greg Wells, vice president of sales & marketing, Comcast Northeast Division; and Heather Zimmerman, president & CEO, Experience Reading & Berks County.

In addition, GRCA extends its appreciation to two outgoing members of the board of directors whose terms have concluded. Andrea Funk, EVP & CFO of EnerSys; and Ryan Redner, president of Redner’s Markets, have completed their service on the board.

We are grateful for their dedication and the impact of their service, and we wish them continued success in their ongoing professional endeavors,” Laura B. Haffner, GRCCI chairwoman, said in a statement.

BARLEY SNYDER

Barley Snyder partner David H. Rattigan has been reelected as treasurer of the Schuylkill County Bar Association for a 13th  consecutive term.

Rattigan is a member of Barley Snyder’s Business, Real Estate and Trusts & Estates practice groups. He uses his more than 30 years of legal experience, combined with his background as a certified public accountant, to assist individuals, families and businesses in achieving their goals. Rattigan has served as treasurer for the Schuylkill County Bar Association since 2000 and also serves as treasurer of the Schuylkill Bar Scholarship Foundation.

For more than a century, the SCBA has served as a resource for lawyers, judges, legal professionals and law students by supporting professional growth and providing access to timely legal issues.

“It is an honor to serve my community as treasurer of the Schuylkill County Bar Association for over 25 years,” Rattigan said in a statement.

Feichtel is a member of the law firm’s Corporate Healthcare and Life Sciences Group, with a practice that also spans the Business and Corporate and Real Estate groups. His work is heavily focused on corporate healthcare transactions and advisory matters, representing a wide range of providers, including physician practices, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, laboratories, medical equipment providers, medical device manufacturers, surgery centers, and urgent care organizations.

In addition to representing buyers and sellers of for-profit healthcare facilities and practices, Feichtel draws on his deep regulatory experience to help clients navigate compliance issues involving HIPAA, the Stark Law, and the Anti-Kickback Statute.

Outside of healthcare, Feichtel advises businesses across industries on core corporate matters, including entity selection and formation, business acquisitions and sales, corporate governance, and succession planning. He supports clients throughout the full business life cycle

Beyond his legal practice, Feichtel is dedicated to educating future legal professionals, having served as an adjunct professor of law at Penn State Dickinson Law and at Harrisburg Area Community College.

Feichtel earned his law degree from Widener University Commonwealth Law School and his undergraduate degree in economics from Penn State University.
