NJ Transit has temporarily suspended its bus, light rail and access link services and will suspend its rail service at 2 p.m. on Sunday due to the winter snowstorm.
NJ Transit rail customers will need to be on trains that get them to their final destination at or before the 2 p.m. suspension.
NJ Transit service will remain suspended until conditions are safe.
“We will provide updates on Monday service during the day on Sunday as we assess the impacts of the storm throughout the state,” a spokesperson wrote.
NJ Transit also said that while customers may see trains and light rail vehicles operating during the service suspension, those cars are operating without passengers in order to keep snow and ice out of wires and rail lines.
