The Dunmore Lions Club’s annual awards dinner for Dunmore High School and Holy Cross High School was held in June at La Buona Vita, Dunmore. Lion Gino Tempesta was chairperson. Awards were presented to outstanding male and female athletes of both high schools. Penn State Scholarships were presented to students attending Penn State Scranton. 2025 Dunmore High School Student Athlete Awards recipients are Sophia Talutto and Tommy Clark. Dunmore Penn State Scholarship recipient is Daniel Malos. Mark Finan made presentations. 2025 Holy Cross High School Student Athlete Awards recipients are Chloe Mendicino and Lucas Urban.
