Taylor police are investigating after three to four individuals, dressed in all back, broke into two vehicles — one on West Taylor Street and one on South Main Street — between 4 and 5 a.m. Sunday, borough Police Chief Brian Holland said.
The individuals, who were driving a 2013 Silver Honda Pilot that was reported stolen out of Old Forge, also attempted to break into several other vehicles in Taylor, Holland said.
“We’re asking anyone with camera footage — or anyone who may have had their vehicle broken into and hasn’t already reported it — to alert police,” Holland added.
Additionally, Old Forge police are investigating a string of car break-ins and stolen vehicles, the department posted on its Facebook page.
The department asks residents who had their car go missing or broken into to call borough police at 570-342-9111 or 570-457-7441.
