Firefighters battled flames inside an attic at a building in Allegheny County Sunday afternoon.Baldwin Fire Rescue was called to a building on the 300 block of Knoedler Road for the smell of smoke. When crews arrived to the scene, they saw the smoke coming from the roof then discovered flames in the attic. Firefighters were able to get the fire under control quickly, however ,the incident caused icing on the road. The road outside the building was closed for Public Works crews to treat the street. BALDWIN, Pa. —

Firefighters battled flames inside an attic at a building in Allegheny County Sunday afternoon.

Baldwin Fire Rescue was called to a building on the 300 block of Knoedler Road for the smell of smoke.

When crews arrived to the scene, they saw the smoke coming from the roof then discovered flames in the attic.

Firefighters were able to get the fire under control quickly, however ,the incident caused icing on the road. The road outside the building was closed for Public Works crews to treat the street.
