The strike at the Erie Parker Lord manufacturing plant is over.

Some 250 employees had been on strike against the company for three weeks over wages, the cost of living and other economic issues.

The membership of the International Association of Machinists Local 1211 voted Sunday afternoon to approve a new four-year contract. It’s a compromise pact calling for a 3.5% wage hike each year and a $2,000 signing bonus.

The union had the majority it needed to approve the contract.

The employees, who make aerospace equipment for commercial and defense use, will be back on the job Monday.
