ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Water customers in downtown Allentown may experience some service interruptions following a water main break Monday morning that prompted repairs.

The call came in around 8:30 a.m. for a reported water main break at the intersection of Parkway Blvd. and Ott Street.

Officials with the Lehigh County Authority (LCA) say crews were dispatched to the location and repairs were completed by 2:30 p.m.

No boil water advisory has been issued, according to LCA officials.

If water is cloudy, or if there is air in the lines, Officials say customers should open cold water faucets for a few minutes until it clears up.
