(WHTM) — Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and if you’re looking to give your significant other a night to remember, you may want to book a reservation at one of these romantic restaurants.

Earlier today, OpenTable debuted its list of the ‘Top 100 Romantic Restaurants in America for 2026’, which includes several establishments here in Pennsylvania, including one in Lancaster County.

In addition to researching the most romantic restaurants, OpenTable also found that Valentine’s Day is continuing to expand beyond its tradition of just celebrating romantic connections.

OpenTable says 57% of Americans believe Valentine’s Day is becoming more about celebrating all relationships rather than just romantic ones. Specifically, this trend is being led by Generation Z by 70%.

“Gen-Z is leading the charge in making Valentine’s Day more inclusive,” Cheryl Paniagua, VP of Restaurant Sales & Services at OpenTable, said. “From partners and friends to family and self-love, restaurants will be the gathering place as over half of Americans plan to dine out this year.* We’re here to help every kind of diner find the right table, with tools like our Top 100 Romantic Restaurants list and our curated guides to get inspired.”

Furthermore, OpenTable’s research found that Americans spend an average of two hours and 14 minutes searching for the right Valentine’s Day dining venue.

Last year alone, 24% of OpenTable reservations were made within 48 hours, and 14% were made within just 24 hours. However, the last-minute waiting may not have paid off, since diners set more ‘Notify Me’ alerts for Valentine’s Day than any other holiday in 2025.

According to OpenTable, they are a global leader in restaurant tech, and help more than 60,000 restaurants worldwide fill 1.9 billion seats each year.
