BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — While most school districts in Lower Bucks County are returning children to classes on Wednesday, the Bensalem Township School District won’t be one of them.

Bensalem Township schools and offices will operate on a two-hour delayed schedule on Wednesday.

Students should arrive at their bus stops two hours later than their regularly scheduled time, school officials said.

Township schools were closed on Monday and had a two-hour delayed opening on Tuesday.

Other school districts in Lower Bucks County will operate on a normal schedule on Wednesday.

They include Bristol Borough and Bristol Township schools, the Centennial School District, the Morrisville Borough School District, the Neshaminy School District, and the Pennsbury School District.

The region received anywhere from over six inches to over 10 inches of snow from Sunday’s winter storm, with communities digging out from the storm for the past few days.
