Barbara Rohlic, of Yardley, passed away on Tuesday. She was the wife of the late Joseph Rohlic, who passed away on June 7, 1998.
Daughter of the late Ernest and Helen Smiegal Altenhein, Barbara was born in Dunmore and was a proud graduate of Dunmore High School.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, David; her granddaughter, Melissa Rohlic Kolata; and her brother, Ernest Altenhein.
Barbara is survived by her daughters, Deborah Bodnar of Yardley, and Lynn Gerrity and her husband, Dan, of Scranton; her grandchildren, David J. Rohlic and his wife, Johnessa, of Dunmore, James Bodnar of Swoyersville, and Jennifer Gerrity, of Pittsburg and Ryan Gerrity of Philadelphia; and her great‑grandchildren, Chris and Jasmine Rohlic of Scranton and Mia Kolata of Las Vegas. She is also survived by her sister‑in‑law, Joann Altenhein, and her niece, Michele Manzo, and family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at St. Paul’s Church, 1510 Penn Ave, Scranton, at 11am. Friends may visit at the church from 10:30am until the time of mass. Interment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
