Police are searching for a suspect who stole a bicycle from a SEPTA bus and then killed a man in Southwest Philadelphia.
It happened around 10 p.m. Wednesday along the 6600 block of Dicks Avenue.
Police say the male suspect exited a SEPTA bus and stole a bike off the front rack. He then allegedly biked up to a man walking on the street and shot him multiple times.
“It looks like the victim was walking along Dicks Avenue when another male dressed in all black walked up behind him and fired multiple times into his back,” said Inspector D.F. Pace. “After that victim fell to the ground, the shooter fired several more shots into the victim and then ran off.”
