PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — The workers at the Philadelphia Zoo didn’t get a snow day this weekend as they worked to care for the animals.
They shared this adorable video of Khumbie the red panda “bobbing” for apples during Sunday’s winter storm.
The zoo says red pandas usually thrive in the winter.
However, because of how harsh the cold weather has been, the pandas been given the choice to hang out inside where it is nice and warm.
The zoo thanked its “wonderful staff” that worked through the snowstorm “to continue to give our animals the best care (and the best enrichment) possible!”
