Clarks Summit will dazzle as a winter wonderland this weekend for the 22nd annual Festival of Ice.
CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. — The freezing weather is perfect for an icy event in Lackawanna County this weekend. Clarks Summit will be transformed into a winter wonderland for the 22nd annual Festival of Ice.
Throughout the three day festival there will be live music, food, games and of course live ice carvings, which start Friday afternoon.
This year’s theme is a patriotic one. “The American Dream: Carved in Ice” celebrates America’s 250th birthday. The kick-off parade is on Friday at 6:30 PM on State Street.
The Clarks Summit Festival of Ice is a free event.
