We’re excited to share that beginning in March 2026, Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh will offer weekend and evening Storytimes at all locations! Making it easier than ever for families to connect and enjoy stories together.

If your family is looking for a cozy activity to help end the busy day, join us for Pajama Storytimes. Children are encouraged to wear their pajamas to enjoy books, songs, and rhymes to ease the transition to bedtime.

Other locations will host Family Fun Storytime. This high-energy program is perfect for the whole family and features engaging stories, songs, and interactive activities that encourage participation.

Taking part in Storytime programs helps to support literacy and social development skills while creating meaningful moments for children and caregivers. It is also a wonderful opportunity to foster a lifelong love of reading.

To find dates, times, and locations, visit the library’s Storytime page Storytime – Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. We can’t wait to talk, sing, read, write, and play with you!

All Storytimes are free and open to children from birth to five years of age and their caregivers.
