Crews are making emergency repairs along Business Route 6 in Dickson City and Blakely.

LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. — A water main break is impacting residents in parts of Lackawanna County.

According to American Water, crews are making emergency repairs after a main break on Thursday along Business Route 6 in Dickson City and Blakely, around 6 p.m.


Repairs are expected to take approximately 10 hours to complete. Residents in the affected areas may experience discolored or cloudy water, low water pressure, or no water at all. 

When work is completed, residents may experience temporary changes in their water.

Repairs are expected to be completed sometime around 4 a.m. on Friday.
