PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — From spooky cocktails to frightfully delcious dishes, the Halloween season is great time for a night out around the city.
At Craftsman Row Saloon the Nightmare Before Christmas is an over-the-top display that transforms the eatery. With a menu of craft cocktails themed for a ghoulishly good night and creative dishes on the menu you will not be disappointed. There are ‘blood bag cocktails’ for a happy hour transfusion and the stuffed peppers are carved to look like Jack Skellington. Everywhere you look there are lights and spiders, webs and scary movie references. It is a totally immersive night out.
Evil Genius is going all-in on the Evil part this fall. The craft brewery has turned its space into the ‘Taproom of Horrors.’ There are 7 sections devoted to the diabolical. From scary clowns to some of the scariest characters ever created, there are plenty of frightfully fun things to see. The award-winning beer can be made blood red and they serve a curated list of cocktails for the Halloween experience.
The Red Rum Theater at the Curtis Center is bringing the Sanderson Sisters to life from the movie Hocus Pocus. There are light bites and cocktails as you interact with the famous witches who will help you concoct your very own ‘potion.’ The room is decorated for the season and the show will leave you smiling.
