Trash collections delayed a day in City of Erie

The cold weather is playing a role in the city’s decision to delay garbage collection on Monday night.

City officials made that announcement earlier Monday as a result of the extreme cold temperatures. As a result of that decision, Monday night’s garbage collection will now take place on Tuesday.

In addition, the rest of the week’s scheduled pick-ups will also be delayed by a day.
