An arrest warrant has been issued for a man who authorities say tried to hit a Pennsylvania State Trooper during a chase through two counties.Authorities say both the Kittanning and Butler stations were involved in a chase on Monday that began in Butler County and ended in Armstrong County.According to a release from officials, a trooper was standing off the road after setting up spike strips when Ronald Piper, 46, attempted to ‘intentionally’ hit the trooper. Piper then allegedly drove into a wooded area, got out of the car and fled. Police say they were unable to find him.On Tuesday, troopers received a report that a vehicle was stolen from the same area where the pursuit ended in East Franklin Township. Police believe Piper stole the vehicle after crashing the one he was originally driving.The stolen vehicle was found damaged on State Route 422 near Swartzlander Lane in Clearfield Township.
