Pitt’s United Way Campaign for the 2025-26 academic year has launched with a new goal: to raise 110% of last year’s total of more than $702,000. Luckily, there are plenty of new and returning opportunities for the University community to join in the campaign’s impactful work.

For decades, the United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania has collaborated with local programs and agencies to deliver health, education and economic mobility solutions for children, older adults, veterans, people with disabilities, women and families who need them. Pitt’s contributions each year help foster these collaborations and make an impact on local communities.

This year’s campaign is led by co-chairs Lina Dostilio, vice chancellor for external relations, and Dwayne Pinkney, executive senior vice chancellor for administration and finance and chief financial officer.
