Water main break closes stretch of East Emmaus Avenue in Salisbury Twp. | Allentown Area

SALISBURY TWP., Pa. – A water main break led to the closure of a stretch of East Emmaus Avenue in Salisbury Township Monday.

East Emmaus Avenue from Potomac Street to Dauphin Street will be closed in both directions due to the water main break from noon to 5 p.m., according to a Facebook post from the Salisbury Township Police Department.

Township police said school buses and residents who are accessing homes in the area will be able to pass through.

However, the roadway will be closed to all other traffic, township police said.
