Reading High finishes regular season with win over Gov. Mifflin

Jostin DeCastro scored 24 points and Weshly Rosario had 22 as Reading High finished the regular season with a 78-67 win over Gov. Mifflin on Monday in boys basketball.

The Red Knights finish BCIAA Division 1 at 9-3 and are 16-6 overall. Next up is the quarterfinal round of the BCIAA tournament on Monday, Feb. 8.

For the Mustangs (9-11, 3-9 Division 1), Nick Kalis had 19 points and Ian Flemming 17.

Wyomissing 47, Conrad Weiser 40

Daniel Moyer and Dom Arguelles combined for 29 points as Wyomissing defeated Conrad Weiser 47-40 in a BCIAA game on Monday night.

The Spartans are the Division 3 winners and qualify for the BCIAA tournament. They are 13-6 overall and 8-2 Division 3. They finish the regular season at Fleetwood tonight and host Manheim Central in a non-league game on Saturday.

Moyer had 15 points and Arguelles 14 for Wyomissing.

Xavier Negron had 14 points and Braydon Sweitzer 13 for the Scouts (7-15, 3-8 Division 2).
