The Washington Capitals are on a three-game winning streak and have jumped back into the playoff conversation in the East.

Now they arrive in Philadelphia on the backend of a back-to-back, looking for another two points.

While the Caps might be tired, they will take the ice at Xfinity Mobile Arena against a team that is struggling mightily. The Flyers are 2-8-2 in their last 12.

Clay Stevenson will get the start in net again — yes outings on consecutive days — and will oppose Dan Vladar on the other side.

Martin Fehervary is hurting after a tough counter hit in the corner from Trevor Zegras during the last goal.

Flyers net suspiciously comes off its frame. There’s a whistle. Capitals yelling at the refs that they did that intentionally to give their tired defenders a break. Same 5 for the Flyers have to stay on but a long stoppage.

Clay Stevenson is off the ice for an extra attacker with just under two minutes remaining.

Wilson nearly checks Tippett into outer space in the neutral zone. He just misses and sends the Flyers’ stick flying into the air.
