Two people were killed in a single-vehicle crash late Tuesday night on Interstate 76 in Gloucester City.
Angel Roque was driving north near milepost 1.2 when he lost control of his car and veered off the highway to the right, State Police said.
The car then hit snow and ice before it became airborne, traveled over the guardrail and slammed into a light pole and wall, officials said.
Roque, 25, of Camden, and his 18-year-old passenger Lizvette Alvarado, of Paulsboro, were both thrown from the vehicle. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash, which took place about a mile from the Walt Whitman Bridge, remains under investigation.
