LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The storm that pounded the Philadelphia region on Sunday has come and gone, leaving heavy snow accumulations and a dig-out that could last for several days.
Bensalem Township topped the list of snow totals in Lower Bucks County, according to the National Weather Service. Most communities received close to or over eight inches of snow.
Most municipal offices are closed on Monday, along with area school districts.
The National Weather Service said that while the storm is gone, freezing temperatures will stick around for most of the week.
