Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom plans to hire 2,000 seasonal employees ahead of its May 8 season opening, the Lehigh Valley amusement park announced.
The hiring push is part of a broader effort by parent company Six Flags Entertainment Corporation to fill more than 50,000 positions across its parks in North America. A virtual hiring event will run from Feb. 14 through 22.
“Recent investments across the park — from new attractions to enhanced guest amenities — make this an especially exciting time to join our team,” said Makeva Brodie, human resources director at Dorney Park.
Applicants can apply through the company’s Rapid Hiring Program at sixflagsjobs.com, which allows job seekers to complete applications and interview questions remotely from a computer or mobile device.
Positions start at $11.50 per hour, with select roles paying $14.50 per hour. Benefits include flexible schedules, free park admission for employees and their friends, in-park discounts, and paid training. Applicants must be at least 15 years old.
Brodie said the park offers a range of opportunities across various positions, allowing applicants to match their skills and interests with available roles.
“We’re proud to build a diverse team that focuses on having fun, delivering memorable guest experiences, and forming lasting friendships along the way,” Brodie said.
The park in South Whitehall Township features more than 100 rides, shows, and attractions, including seven roller coasters and a water park.
