ALLENTOWN, PA – Muhlenberg College students are fully involved in “In Motion,” February 5-7, in the college’s Baker Center for the Arts, Empie Theatre. The production is the college’s annual premiere dance concert, featuring choreographic works by accomplished dance faculty and guest artists.
A gradute of Westover School, Josie Andreoli of Watertown, CT is a Dancer for “Threads” choreographed by professors Elizabeth June Bergman and Noel Price-Bracey. Andreoli is studying as a member of the class of 2029 at Muhlenberg.
This year’s concert features work by the Baker Artist-in-Residence and multidisciplinary tap artist Michael J. Love, whose residency is made possible by the Dexter F. and Dorothy H. Baker Foundation. The concert also features work by guest hip hop choreographer Ricky “Glytch” Evans, and by dance faculty members Heidi Cruz-Austin, Karen Dearborn, Lyndsey Vader and Robyn Watson. Professors Elizabeth June Bergman and Noel Price-Bracey serve as the concert’s artistic directors, and also have choreographed pieces.
