Efforts to pass a controversial earned income tax on citizens in Upper Darby Township are being put into motion once again.
If enacted, the ordinance would take effect on Jan. 1, 2026. A council vote is set for Aug 20.
If that passes, the ordinance will be considered for final approval in September.
