PHILADELPHIA – A Philadelphia-based law firm says it reached a multi-million-dollar settlement on behalf of three students who were sexually abused by former teacher and coach Christian Willman at Parkland High School in Lehigh County.

The Laffey Bucci D’Andrea Reich and Ryan law firm said it secured a $6 million settlement.

Willman went on to abuse at least two more students at Palisades High School in Bucks County, the law firm says.

Willman is currently serving 6 to 12 years after pleading guilty in 2020 to abusing 6 girls in from both Parkland and Palisades High School in Bucks County.

The plaintiffs alleged that Parkland failed to act on multiple reports and obvious red flags regarding Willman’s behavior, allowing him continued access to students, according to the law firm.

The law firm said the identities of the survivors remain confidential. The matter was resolved as part of a settlement agreement between the parties, according to the news release.

There is an ongoing second lawsuit pending in Bucks County based on Willman’s abuse of students at Palisades High School.
