Crews are responding to a gas leak Wednesday morning in Lehigh County.
UGI spokesperson John Mason said crews were called to the 200 block of East Emmaus Avenue in Salisbury Township. He said just before 10 a.m. that they were working to repair the leak.
Township police posted on social media about 8:45 a.m. that the road is closed in both directions at the border with Allentown. Drivers should take alternate routes.
